Welcome to part of the Peak network - a range of websites concerning hill walking challenges. The Three Peaks, could refer to either the National Three Peaks Challenge, or the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
The National Three Peaks is a popular hill walking challenge, covering the length of the UK - Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales. To complete the National Three Peaks Challenge all three peaks need to be ascended and decended within 24 hours.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is carried out in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The Yorkshire Three Peaks is generally completed within 12 hours, and can be seen as a good precursor to the National Three Peaks.
